Intended Use

The Equilibrium Dialysis Buffer has been formulated and validated for use in the Equilibrium Dialysis of unbound hormones such as thyroxine (free T4), triiodothronine (free T3), and free testosterone.

Features:

• Eliminates unbound hormones binding to surfaces. One of the necessities in formulating a buffer for Equilibrium Dialysis is to ensure that the buffer prevents the unbound hormone from binding to any surfaces. The Equilibrium Dialysis Buffer has been formulated to do just that and eliminate inaccurate quantification due to loss of unbound hormones to the Equilibrium Dialysis chamber surfaces.
• Formulated to match serum conditions to prevent equilibrium disruptions of unbound and bound hormones.
• Provides a suitable environment for unbound hormones.
• Use in conjunction with the QD-Cell™ for an easy Equilibrium Dialysis System.
